Gender Dysphoria Rabbit is our most requested Plushie Dreadful design to date! The Crowd Design for this rabbit began on Oct 17th, 2021 with an initial sketch from Jen based on creative input from a small team of people who experience and are knowledgeable on the topic of dysphoria. On Dec 15th, 2021 an updated design was shared based on suggestions from Crowd Design. And again on Dec 19th, another update was shared. All of these Crowd Design posts attracted hundreds of Comments and thousands of Likes. Wow!
On January 13th, 2022, we shared the first pictures of the physical product.

In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical representations, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.
